Margaret (?) was; At the age of 17 or 18, she became involved with, according to descendants, andy Welch, possibly the son of William Welch. The Welch family lived near Charles Cromwell and the Addingtons in the War Gap Ridge section of Russell County, Virginia. As a result of this involvement, Margaret bore Tandy two children: Andrew Jackson Addington and Elizabeth Addington. The descendants of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth say that Andrew and Elizabeth were raised by their Grandparents. This can only mean that margaret Cromwell Addington (Williams Sr's Widow) had remarried and that they and their Mother Margaret were living with them. Andrew Jackson Addington was; Andrew Jackson and Verlina lived on the bluff above Clinch River, between Dungannon and Nickelsville, Scott County, Virginia. Their farm was large and made up of sloping fields, wooded ridges and hills. Cold springs bubbled up in convenient plaxes and a brook headed and flowed through one side of the land making it ideal for rearing a large family. Andrew Jackson and Verlina were married at the old home near the Buckeye Spring west of the schoolhouse (Moore's Gate). They moved to the homestead on the top of the Copper Ridge and built their house on the top of the hill. This being too far from the water, he built again farther down, near a large spring, where they spent the rest of their lives, except for the last few years which were spent with their youngest daughter.1 He married Verlina Hutchinson.2,3 Andrew Jackson Addington married Verlena Hutchinson.4 Andrew Jackson Addington was born in 1815 at Scott, VA, US.5,3,1 He was the son of John Addington and Margaret (?).1 Andrew Jackson Addington died circa 1900.3 He was buried at Thomas Moore Cemetery, Scott, VA, US.3
